On Yom Kippur, the Prophet Isaiah Teaches  Us:

 

Share your bread with the hungry. . . (Isaiah 58:7)

 

LET’S TAKE ISAIAH’S WORDS TO HEART!

 

Following Rosh Hashanah and up until Kol Nidrei,

please drop off KOSHER non-perishables—

 

pastas, canned fruits and vegetables,

canned fish, boxed cereals, and crackers, etc.—

 

at the synagogue  (please,  nothing after Kol Nidrei).

 

Boxes in the Religious School  will be set up

to receive your donations.

 

Operation Isaiah is a project of

The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

 

Collected food items will be brought to St. Mary's of the Angels Home in Syosset, Long Island, which provides a wide array of treatment and support services to children and adolescents in need.
