Beginning Sunday September 22, and on every Sunday that Hebrew school is in session, Midway has hired a security officer whose role will be to alleviate the pressures of the parking lot. The officer will be present from 8:45am until dismissal is complete at 1:00pm. We ask that you fully cooperate with her and follow her instructions as to where you can park and when you can safely leave the parking lot. By following her instructions this will make it easier for everyone.
The most important rules to follow are:
- Never block the entrance to the synagogue and therefore no one can park between the entrance and school steps.
- Every parking spot in the parking lot must be filled before the horseshoe of cars can be formed.
- When the horseshoe is formed you must drive as far as you can into the horseshoe to maximize the cars that can fit it. Please do not leave gaps between cars.
- No car can move until you have been given the approval from the security officer.
- If you are in a hurry we recommend that you park on South Oyster Bay Road.
